The Alix Library is currently on Summer Hours (until Aug. 27th):
Tuesday: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Wednesday: 10:30 am - 4:30 pm, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Thursday: 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
Friday: 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
Saturday: 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
A book drop is located by the front door for your convenience.
The Summer Reading Program is offered Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, for children ages 5 - 9 years. The cost is $1/child/session to help cover craft costs.

- Alix Public Library
- Alix Public Library has served the residents of Alix and area for over 95 years. In 1914 the United Farm Women of Alberta, spearheaded by Irene Parlby, opened a library in the community's UFA Hall. Though there have been many changes over the years, the library is still housed in the same place.
