Alix Public Library has an ongoing Book Sale during the summer, selling gently-used books for a quarter each.
As well, we have books for sale at the Alix Farmers' Markets on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Watch for the Library float in the Alix Parade on Saturday, August 6th at 10:00 am.

- Alix Public Library has served the residents of Alix and area for over 95 years. In 1914 the United Farm Women of Alberta, spearheaded by Irene Parlby, opened a library in the community's UFA Hall. Though there have been many changes over the years, the library is still housed in the same place.
