Great Alberta Reading Challenge
Wednesday, Oct. 19 and Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005 we will determine which community has the highest percentage of readers. Read anything for a minimum of 15 minutes during the two days and log onto www.readingchallenge.ca to register. There are a number of prizes to be won.
Food for Fines
For the month of October, bring in a non-perishable item for the Alix Food Bank with your overdue books and the library will waive your overdue fines
