Writing Workshop
Monday evenings - November 6, 13, 20 & 27
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the library. This workshop is FREE. Everyone welcome. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER so we have an idea of the numbers attending. Instructor: Mary Ellen Williams from Delburne, author of “So This is Chain Lakes”

- Alix Public Library
- Alix Public Library has served the residents of Alix and area for over 95 years. In 1914 the United Farm Women of Alberta, spearheaded by Irene Parlby, opened a library in the community's UFA Hall. Though there have been many changes over the years, the library is still housed in the same place.
