I hope everyone is keeping warm on this windy day.
We wish to extend our congratulations to Eve Keates on receiving the Governor General's Caring Canadian Award. In honour of this achievement, the library has awarded Eve Keates with a lifelong library membership.
We had another successful When In Supper on Sat., Jan. 19th. Thank you to the Payne family for sharing their adventures from their trip to China for the Special Olympics.
Our next supper will be Feb. 16 at 6:30 at the Library. Potluck supper. Mary Flexhaug will be sharing some travel adventures with us. Hope to see you there.
Games Nights are happening at the library on Friday Nights at 7:00. Fun for the whole family.

- Alix Public Library has served the residents of Alix and area for over 95 years. In 1914 the United Farm Women of Alberta, spearheaded by Irene Parlby, opened a library in the community's UFA Hall. Though there have been many changes over the years, the library is still housed in the same place.
